You need a current passport with at least 6 months validity with one blank visa page and a completed and signed application form. The most common forms are the 48R for tourism, 456 for Temporary Business Entry and form 876 for Transit visa.

There are a number of other visa classes requiring different application forms. Please contact your nearest Australian Embassy or visit the Australian Department of Immigration's website at www.immi.gov.au for more information and to obtain all the appropriate forms required.

What is an ETA?

An Electronic Travel Authority or ETA is a streamlined visa issuing system available from most travel agents.. Ask your travel agent to arrange for your ETA when you book your travel. ETAs can also be arranged through the Embassy.

There is no fee for transit visas.
